SeaGlass Literary does not nor claim to own any of the pieces published in their issues.

SeaGlass Literary retains exclusive rights of all Journal posts, and they may not be reproduced, republished, or otherwise distributed without written agreement.

The SeaGlass Literary logo, cover designs, and merch designs are original and copyrighted works of art done by the in-house team for exclusive use.

No material in the issues, journal, website, or social medias of SeaGlass Literary may be utilised for Artificial Intelligence (AI) training.

All work in SeaGlass Literary’s issues, journal, website, or social medias that are shared in other places must be appropriately credited.

We do not sell or release any of your information (ex. email, name, etc) to 3rd parties when you share it with us on our website.

Contributors to issues retain full copyright and ownership of your work. Publication in SeaGlass Literary does not transfer any rights of ownership to the magazine.

The following rights also apply to issue contributors:

  • First World English Rights: The right to publish your work in English for the first time in any country.
  • First World Rights: The right to publish your work for the first time in any country.
  • Archival Rights: The right to display your work in our online archive in perpetuity, unless otherwise requested in writing.
  • The right to publish your work in digital and/or print formats as part of the designated issue.
  • The right to use excerpts, images, or full versions of your work (with full credit) in promotional materials, such as social media, newsletters, or website highlights.
  • These rights are non-exclusive, and you remain free to publish your work elsewhere at any time after publication with us.
