• June 23, 2021: Our first Instagram post and the start of SeaGlass Literary

• July 24/25, 2021: We partnered with TYWI for their summer Writeathon

• August 5, 2021: Our first Journal post was uploaded

• August 25, 2021: The release of Issue 1: Bioluminescence

• December 26, 2021: We held our first release event

• January 8, 2022: We partnered with TYWI for their winter Writeathon

• May 9, 2022: We received sponsorships from Scrivener and 4theWords

• July 14, 2022: We partnered with Coexist Lit and Global Youth Review for the Metamorphosis contest

• March 31, 2023: We hosted our Women’s History Month contest, our first ever independent contest. Poetry Winner. Prose Winner.

• December 1, 2023: We collaborated with 6+ other magazines for the Rising Voices Awards

• January 30, 2024: We launched our Peer Editing Service

• April 24, 2024: We became fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation

• July 2024: We hosted our summer program, Author Talks

• 2025: 14 issues and counting, with many improvements and updates along the way!
