Three haikus: monsoon rains and yesterday’s summer romance

Haikus by Zo Navarro

I.

Biting freeze creeping

bone crevices, signaling

to a season’s change.

II.

Bittersweet summer–

cicada chorus; luscious

mango shared with you.

III.

Battering loud winds;

The skies of rain and sorrow

steal you from my grasp.
